THE ART DIFFERENCE . . . The art department has been completely updated and upgraded for 2005. The most significant upgrade was the addition of a brand new Quadra 54 inch inkjet printer. The Quadra elevates us to the top of film output capability and decreases the time spent on each job. We are now capable of delivering premium quality artwork in just 2-4 hours. In addition, we now meet the standard for 4 color process and can produce art at 100 lines per inch. Four Color Process printing is part of our core ability but we require artwork to be 65 DPI MINIMUM. Please do not send anything smaller, we are NOT able to hold the registration. Programs Supported (Acceptable file formats): Abobe Photoshop (.psd) Adobe Illustrator (.ai) Corel PhotoPaint (.cpt) CorelDraw (.cdr) Freehand (.fh) Generic File Formats:
.EPS - not the best format as it can be easily corrupted in e-mail transfer
.JPG - only acceptable if artwork is just type set and one color (black)
.PDF - preferred file type from Apple Macintosh users
.TIF - acceptable for 4-color process but must be in layers for possible
rearranging of layouts. File must be in 300dpi, high resolution.
Fonts: We have hundreds of font families and styles; however, please confirm with us on your specific font request. It is best to send us your specific font so that we can activate them for artwork. It is better to have the fonts converted to paths to eliminate any loss of time. Send your files via: CD-ROM USB (Thumb) Drive Zip Disk 1.44MB Diskette E-Mail (for files smaller than 10MB) FTP (for large repeated transfers, call) E-mail artwork must be accompanied by a hard copy via snail mail or fax, so that we can verify that the artwork has been completely transferred.
